This easy Chicken Tetrazzini recipe is a creamy and comforting pasta casserole made with tender chicken, spaghetti, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and plenty of melted mozzarella cheese. Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 2 cups cooked chicken cubed or shredded
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese divided
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain.
  3. In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, butter, garlic salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese, and 1 cup mozzarella cheese.
  4. Add chicken and cooked pasta. Stir until evenly coated.
  5. Transfer mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese over the top.
  7. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes or until bubbly and heated through.
  8. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  9. Garnish with parsley and enjoy.

Notes

  • Rotisserie chicken works great in this recipe.
  • Add mushrooms, peas, or broccoli for extra vegetables.
  • Can be assembled up to 24 hours in advance.
  • Freezes well before or after baking.
