Homemade Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp yeast
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Butter for brushing

Method
 

  1. Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let bloom 5–10 minutes.
  2. Add flour, salt, and oil. Mix until dough forms.
  3. Knead for 10 minutes.
  4. Let rise in a greased bowl for 60 minutes.
  5. Shape into loaf and place in pan.
  6. Let rise another 60 minutes.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
  8. Brush with melted butter while cooling.
